My Lonely Life...

August 14 2011

Early in my childhood
A thorn pierced my heart
As I grew, it tore deeper
With age, I realized it was
The thorn of loneliness…

In joy I laugh, in pain I cry
Among crowd and at party
I walk, I talk, I sit and I move
With my family, with friends

But always feel I’m alone…

Tears, wrung from my heart
Soak through my soul which
Got devoured by loneliness
The day I die, will I have to

Carry my own corpse, alone?

God did not even ask me!!!

August 13 2011

God decided to encourage people to have fewer children and introduced an award scheme… During the procedure at one point, he concentrated on learning about the situation in India:
He first met Jawaharlal Nehru in heaven, and asked him how many children he had during his time on earth. Nehru replied… only one!
Happy with the relatively good family planning adopted, God awarded Nehru with a Celestial Rolls Royce!

Indira Gandhi was next, and God asked the same question. She replied she had two children, and God thought, not too bad, so he gave her a BMW.
Dr. Radhakrishnan was next in line. God was not pleased to hear that he had six children, and gave him a Morris-8 as a kind of punishment…
Sometime later, the three (Nehru, Indira and Radhakrishnan) going around in their new cars, saw Mahatma Gandhi on foot!!!
Wondering what went wrong; they asked why God hadn't been merciful with him…
The Mahatma replied in disgust, "God did not even ask me!!!
They again asked why?...
Mahatma replied some idiots had told me that I am the father of the Nation.

Who is Anna Hazare?

August 11 2011

10 things to know about Anna Hazare 'n Jan Lok Pal Bill.. !
1. Who is Anna Hazare?
An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What's so special about him?
He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra
3. So what?
This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, bio fuel and wind mills. In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.

4. Ok,...?
This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.

5. Really, what is he fighting for?
He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India.

6. How that can be possible?
He is advocating for a Bil, The Jan Lok pal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

7. It's an entirely new thing right..?
In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit their theft (corruption).
8. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?
The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed. Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the JAN LOK PAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.

9. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?
A Lok Pal will be appointed at the center. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

10. Ok, got it. What can I do?
At least we can spread the message. How?
Putting status message, links, video, changing profile pics. At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from India. At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.

Sara Freder

August 10 2011

I think my support sara freder  possess magical powers. She came on monday. I had done nothing all day yet I was exhausted, I was starting to feel hopeless. I felt ashamed of the state of my house. But she came in to my mind  and she didn't chastise me, she just said "ok, so you've gone back a couple of steps but it doesn't undo all your hard work", she said "you can't let this illness run your life", she said "come on, let's clean your room so you can keep your room perfect tonight". She started tidying up and I found myself helping her, picking up clutter, sweeping the floor. She left me with a cleaner house and a somewhat clearer mind. I just felt better.
I've never had this kind of virtual practical support before, and I find it so powerful. Amazingly simple, not requiring advanced psychology degrees or anything other than a dose of compassion and an encouraging attitude, but it *works*, it *helps*.

SNORING

August 9 2011

I was travelling on Blue Mountain  Express from Chennai to Tiruppur. After having dinner, it was time to sleep.

Soothing songs on my mp3 player made me float like a feathery cloud in deep blue sky of sleep - all of a sudden, a thunderbolt struck me. Yes, a big, loud, weird and a deadly thunderbolt.

From the middle birth, I bent down to find that the tall hefty man on lower birth was snoring at his best ever. With every exhalation, the snore grew even louder surpassing the maximum decibel limit inside a railway compartment.
Immediately I turned the volume high on my mp3 player, but still the snore was able to murder every song that played on(if Rahman ji heard this, he could never win Oscars). I wondered whether I was sleeping inside a lion's den with the lion roaring straight into my ears.
And another surprising thing was, the way others were able to sleep with such loud sound in the air, so loud that it could tear apart every ear drum that it kisses. May be God was kind to them, blessing them to turn deaf for this one night? Or maybe everyone is afraid of disturbing the extra tall, hefty gentleman.

In the middle of the night, I somehow got the idea to wake him up and request him to sign a deal - you sleep for a few hours then give us a chance - wake up, stay awake, allow us to sleep for the same time.

But I was so doubtful whether I could convince him or not? And as I continued to ponder, the train reached its destination. I realized then that I was awake almost the whole night, unable to sleep, not even for a few proper minutes.

Well my dear friend, do spare two minutes to tell me when was the last time you were exposed to snoring at its peak levels while travelling?

Please share your experiences and suggest me any tips or tricks so that I could shield myself next time from this deadly weapon - SNORING :)))))))))))))))))

Restless always…

August 7 2011

I see the boy chasing the yellow butterflies down the street.
I see the boy running barefoot through the burning sand, only to reach the ice cream vendor on time.
I see the boy climbing the lower branch of the tree and peeping into the pigeon’s nest to enquire whether its eggs hatched or not.
I see the boy sitting in the classroom and day-dreaming. It’s an important lecture and our boy is busy building castles in the air.
I see the boy climb up the hill within minutes to meet his pals, the shepherd and his flock.
I see the boy in mango orchards, stealing a mango in the gardener’s absence.
I see the boy drench in the rain and make paper boats float on the stream of rain water.
I see the boy playing the game of goli gundu with his neighbourhood friends.
I see the boy roaming with his friends at the town fair, intending to buy every toy on display.
I see the boy fleeing from the town and reaching the shrine on the outskirts.
I see the boy pull a blade of grass and throw it as high as possible into the air and laugh aloud.
I see the boy hanging along with his friends from the tree branches, like a monkey.
I see the boy running through the paddy fields and drinking water from the field pumps.
I see the boy wandering aimlessly in the streets, like the flowing river water through a valley.
I see the boy flying a kite and feeling proud as the kite soars high into the sky.
I see the boy celebrate his birthday and share gifts, books, and toys with his friends.
I see the boy singing in chorus with his friends, in loud jubilant voices.
I see the boy swimming in the lake waters, trying to catch the tiny fish that are touching his feet.
At last he is back home after sunset, with pocket full of marbles which he won in the game. When his mother questions him why he was not home after school, he just chuckles and goes running into his room.

The sound of marbles dropped on the floor by a running child was echoing inside the room.

The boy is shocked to find a hole in his pocket, maybe while climbing the mango tree the pocket might have torn, but he is content that he did not lose any marble. Finally, in the darkness of night, the tired boy is in his bed. After being restless the whole day, Is the boy calm and relaxing now? No, though he is sleeping, he dreams of doing all that he had done the whole day again and again.

the little boy is restless always…till now!

Take your life easy prabhu...!

August 6 2011

Spotting a worried look on my face, my Samu Perimaa used to say, "Take it easy, take life as it comes, don't carry too much weight, carry a light heart". She used to say:

Pick up a palm full of fine dry beach sand, hold it tight, how long can you hold it? for a minute, hour, max a day?? the longer, the more it would bother you...

Slowly loosen your fingers and look at how the sand slips by so easily, leaving behind a carefree palm...

The same goes with worries, the more you hold, the more it bothers your head, try to let them slip away like fine sand....

Try take your life easy prabhu...

Infinite nothingness

August 5 2011

What would you do when you are alone at a lake during the hour of dusk? Well, here is an account of what I’ve done today, late this evening:

It was the hour when birds started returning to their nests; in each flap of their wings I could smell the scent of sun.

The sky being god’s own coloring book, you find him always filling it with his favorite colors. Now, let us observe here, the quiet colors of dusk.

After collecting a few pebbles from the ground, I happened to step on a dried leaf and as it got crushed under my feet, out came a "crispy sound" - the leaf was long dead so it couldn't shed a tear drop like we humans do.
I then sat on a bench close to the lake and began dropping the pebbles, one by one into the lake and watched the ripples dance…

Every time a pebble touched the lake surface it gave out a cry, “plop” was the sound which echoed deep into the empty halls of my heart.

As each pebble sank down the throat of the lake, the fish below whispered tales of silence to each other.

A squirrel nearby took courage to question me, “Why did you put such a blank expression on your face, your silent eyes tell stories of emptiness”.

“Dear little squirrel, it’s not sadness that touched me, it’s not happiness that tickled me, it’s the infinite nothingness that filled my heart”.

“Infinite nothingness? What does that mean?” asked the cute squirrel twirling its tail.

“Though life’s journey remains a mystery, just observe carefully around and you will understand the inner meanings of our existence”

A time is coming . . .

Catastrophic!

August 2 2011

Reks called me on 28th July. I had done nothing all day yet I was exhausted, I was starting to feel hopeless. She didn't chastise my heart, she said "you can't let this depression run your life", She clear my mind. I just felt better.

I've never had this kind of support before, and I find it so powerful. Amazingly simple, not requiring advanced psychology degrees or an encouraging attitude, but it *works*, it *helps*.

Then Friday (29th July) I waited for her call. Now a days her talk was so helpful and stop talking things to excess, but I finished the conversation feeling more positive. Because basically I have had a mild mood episode, but it *has* been mild, it hasn't gone to extremes, it hasn't taken me feeling I gone miss her, it hasn't lasted very long. After going a little too high it was inevitable.

So maybe all the things I am doing - eating well, talking normally, doing walk etc *are* having an effect. The problem with me is that I'm always hoping for love, hoping that I will find the thing that will make me well and keep me well forever and ever, but that is unrealistic. Right now, I accept this. And if I can control my thoughts, if I can keep it within reasonable bounds, if I can used to riding it out, I can stop being quite so scared of losing control.

What I realised talking to her was how much better I am than I was a year ago, or two years ago, or three. I still have problems with my emotions but I no longer have such difficulties with my thoughts and perceptions, and so I can communicate with everyone, and so I can *think* about my emotions, perceive patterns, gain some insight, and hopefully find ways to minimize the impact they have. This is actually a really positive thing. Admittedly I was very depressed earlier this year, but even then I didn't get as *lost* as I have done in the past. Reks and her phone calls has been a very effective medicine for me. She has almost entirely removed a whole layer of my problems.

And I start to see what a complicated thing love is, how many complex interactions there are between thought and feeling and behavior. quarreling  is one part of it for me right now, but there are also many things I can do for myself. And yes, sometimes I resent *having* to be careful how I love her and so I must make the best of things for her.
For now I am just intensely relieved that the black shadow of depression has receded. She make me panic, and catastrophic, but I feel ok again, not fantastic, not completely well, but not exhausted either, not hopeless   and bowed under the weight of the way I'm feeling.

Happy Birthday Reks!

Life is full of Compromise

August 1 2011

“Life is but a compromise”, said my Ma and she continued, “You can’t get everything you want, you need to adjust. To survive in this competitive world, you should learn to sacrifice. We all have many dreams and aspirations but only few of them get fulfilled.”
Her words went straight into my heart as I always realize late in life.

Yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision, but today can make a big difference. Yes, today well lived, makes yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a bright vision of hope.

So my dear friend, let us make the most of today; Carpe Diem - seize this day.

3 things to look at...

July 31 2011

While reading an article in a magazine, I found these 3 things worthy enough to make a note and now share with you :)
3 types of people :
Those who make things happen
Those who watch things happen
Those who wonder what happened

3 which can never be retrieved :
A spoken word
Time passed
Neglected Opportunity

3 which makes life so simple :
Be grateful for everything
Forgive those who hurt you
Give without expecting anything in return

Alone

July 30 2011

Very few people help us in life,

The rest just attend our funeral,

But will at least one among them,

Come along on the day we depart?

Parents, children, sisters, brothers,

Friends, colleagues, acquaintances,

Husband, wife, well wishers, associates,

Who will come along the day we die?

We are born alone, we die alone…

The Window !

July 29 2011

I miss all my friends here in blogger, Every one asks me "why you didn't blog?". I'm sorry for staying silent so long, ok I search for no excuses, the reason was I became a bit lazy and increased no of sleeping hours since the advent of monsoons :)
The other day I came across an old newspaper cutting in my cupboard, author unknown. But found it really nice and felt like sharing it with my friends here.

A young couple moved into a new neigbourhood. The next morning, while they were having breakfast, the wife sees her neighbour hang the wash outside. "The laundry is not very clean. That lady doesn't know how to wash properly, perhaps she needs a better laundry soap", she says.

Her husband looked on but remained silent.

Everytime the neighbour hanged her wash to dry, the young wife would make the same comments. About a month later, oneday the wife was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband, "Look, she has finally learned how to wash correctly, I wonder who taught her this".

The husband said, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our window panes".

And so is with life : What we see while watching others, depends upon the "Purity of the Window" through which we look.

Before we give any criticism, it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask ourselves if we are ready to see the good in the person whom we are about to judge.

Ve a great weekend ahead :)

Never Give Up!

July 28 2011

"It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all" - J.K.Rowling
Sometimes things don't seem to work our way and we get disappointed. There are occasions when you succeed but there is every chance that you may get to face loss and failures, they are but a part of life.

It is natural to feel upset when things go wrong but how to deal with a problem is more important than the problem itself. Everyone fails at something at some point in their lives, so nothing to worry, we are after all human and not a machine.

The battle is not lost when we fail, but we lose when we decide to give up the fight. Failure is quite common but staying determined and focussed with a "Never Give Up" attitude is what leads us to success.

Have the strength to try again and again and never give up, nothing can stop you from reaching your goal :)

A Dream to Study Abroad

July 27 2011

While working at Sony Playstation Store @ Chennai, life used to be pretty ordinary - slogging all day at the office, sharing a rented room at Chennai and visiting home twice monthly. I was sick of the routine life, was looking for a change. Like every Indian graduate, even I too had a dream to study abroad and the time felt wrong for that dream to take shape.

First choice was America, because my brother were settled over there. My field of interest was Hardware  Engineering, so America was the most favorite choice, because it has got several world-renowned computer makers.
Learning American english was my next step but one of my uncles cautioned me that getting admission into American Universities is not a child's play and they don't give visa that easily. He then narrated his daughter's UK success story and suggested me to opt for Britain. After graduating, I can apply for jobs in America or other European countries. Thats when I decided that UK will be my destination for further education.

It was a struggle for my father to get my education loan sanctioned from State Bank of India and with a score of 7.5 in IELTS exam, I didn't got an admission, I experienced my first failure journey, which I will share as my next blog post....

A series of blog posts will slowly unfold my life over the years of my failures...!.

Yes, I am Wrong...

July 26 2011

“Yes, I was wrong, I admit it was my mistake”, the room turned silent and everyone looked surprised. It was a brave confession indeed.

Aiming to be a perfectionist? No one is perfect, we all make mistakes, it is part of being human; but the question is....

How many of us have the guts and courage to admit?
How many of us accept our mistakes?

Ego stops us and we start sensing an inferior feeling when accept our mistakes. We teach the modern day kids about the virtues of being truthful but when we commit mistakes, we are always looking at a scapegoat who can take the fall.

Along with courage, it even takes a lot of integrity to admit to one's mistakes. It is so difficult to practice this.
“There are no mistakes, only lessons”, says my mom.

We justify mistakes for the sake of our ego. Sometimes it is best to say, very simply, “Yes, I made a mistake”, marking an end to an argument.

Accepting the blame, even when you have not done any mistake by resisting the temptation of justifying, for the sake of loved ones is the quality of a wise man.

There are people who deny their mistakes; they even go for counter allegations. But a dignified apology can go a long way to restoring trust.

The most powerful trait of a person is to readily accept his/her shortcomings. Nothing can be more appreciable and so truly respected.

Yeah, the best thing is to stick to the truth. Simply accept what we are and what we did. This way, we can improve a lot.

I accept my mistakes and make sure not to repeat the same again. It is the key for my much better life.

A hug a day keeps the blues away

July 25 2011

When was the last time you were hugged by someone, was it months ago, weeks, days or just minutes ago? Hugs are so special, no matter how many we get or give, there is still space for more :)

"A hug a day keeps the blues away" is so true, cause hugs boost our happiness levels, they relieve us from stress, nervousness, anxiety and pain. A hug is considered as the rainbow after rain.

There are different types of hugs based on who gives them to us, some carry love, care, affection and some are just casual, conveying friendship. But every hug is special in its own way!
On a day when you feel so down, when hope seems to fade and feel you are lost, a hug from someone who cares, be it family or friends, makes the heart light. Hugging is such a wonderful tonic which makes us feel energized and gives sufficient emotional boost.

Opening of arms, a warm embrace, a gentle pat on the shoulder, a few words whispered like "take care", "good luck" and that takes hardly a few seconds, but hugs, like miracles, surprise you as to how precious they are in churning out contentment and happiness.

A hug never goes in waste, it gifts us with happiness through the warmth and care of hearts embrace. So start hugging more and see your life turn more beautiful :)

How many hugs do you get or give on an average day? Did you hug someone today?

Well, heres a friendly hug to all those who are reading this post, have a wonderful day ahead :) take care :) cheers!!

Guess Why Obama Called Me?!

July 24 2011

Last night, I was busy on the phone with my butterfly. Suddenly He came in the second line. Yes it was the same guy who won the US presidential elections by speaking my lines -"Yes. We Can". I did not pick his call.
Why did Obama called me?

Why does he have to call me in the middle of the night?

Osama is already dead. Still Why did he called me?

Why isn't ground-nut frying a peaceful job yet?
Any guesses why he would have called?

I know all details :)

July 23 2011
Hi everyone!

This is Krithi here. I am writing this post as my chitapaa is busy on the phone with his girlfriend. The other day, I over heard him speaking on the phone. He tried cracking some jokes, that were not funny even for a six year old girl like me. I feel sorry for my future aunt (Butterfly) for listening to all the PJs that my chitapaa cracks over the phone.

He also tries to be romantic over the phone. He uses some funny names to address her. A few of the names are "Kutti, Chellam and Thangam". He uses more funny names. I will reveal all those names soon.

The other night, he was reading bed night stories for me, when his mobile phone rang. He picked the phone and started talking on the phone. I was angry with him because he did not complete reading the story for me. He started telling all romantic stories to my aunt. I acted as if I did not understand anything. But I know all details and I bless him his tale should end happily:)

A Reason Why I am Not Blogging!!

July 22 2011

I was away from the blogging scene as I was on a one month fast, fighting against corruption. But being someone who is modest and homely, I did not publicize it like the Hazares and the Ramdevs. I finally broke my fast when I found that Terror Romeo Rajendar is gonna act again.

I am back!!

July 21 2011

Finally, I am back on blogger!!! After 1 month of staying away.
I missed my friends, missed reading their blogs, I'll try to catch up and read as many pieces as I can! :)

Life has changed in a big way for me, I am presently in Chennai, doing my business projects and I've got bundles of new experiences to share, so I'll be back to writing!!

I was intending to get back with a poem as my 'come back post' but its really so hard to actually rhyme lines poetically, tried since last week to frame it properly but looks like I lost touch or may be I need more time to pen down those thoughts!!

I've decided to change my style of writing to being more narrative and casual, more like a conversation. I love blogging, cause its such a simple and easy form of expressing oneself :)

Cheers!!!

3. Pepsiboy will reveal another good news in this blog soon ;)

Pepsi Bureau of Investigation

June 20 2011

The PBI (Pepsi Bureau of Investigation) on Tuesday made a noble deed by saving David Beckham. Apparently Beckham had tried to commit suicide. He had seen the above picture of Vijay and that might be the reason for his heartbreak. How ever the exact reasons for his suicide attempt has not been discovered.

Now let us forget about David Beckham and let us concentrate on our Illayathalapathy Vijay. He shot into fame through the movie Kaadhalukku mariyaadhai. He gave a series of hits and he soon became a super hero in the Tamil film world. But soon Vijay fell into bad company and ended up doing C grade movies. All these movies had the same story line and as a result 10 of his movies bombed big time in the box office. The story line of the ten movies is given below

Introduction of Hero through a song or through a fight. Usually Vijay emerges out of a Steel shutter or through a crowd or through his bike riding skills. In one movie he even emerged out of the sea.

One Kuthu song. It doesn't matter even if it doesn't fit into the movie.

Vijay will always have one sister in every movie and he will do anything for her.

His best friend will be killed by the baddies.

The heroine will be the daughter/bride/ sister of the Villain.

Vijay can fly.

The old ladies and grandpas in the locality always love our hero.

Punch dialogues with non-synchronising hand gestures appear every now and then.

Producer goes bankrupt.

After a series of 5 flops, Pepsiboy also started pulling Vijay's legs and hence ditched his brand loyalty towards him. Actor Vijay has acted in commercials too. He is the only actor in the world whose commercial also flopped big time. The commercial is not worth a single penny. How ever Vijay has bounced back with a beautiful commercial through Joy Alukkas again. Hope he finds his new rhythm in his forthcoming films.

Toughest days of my life!

June 19 2011

It was the year 1983. I was in Kindergarten. Many would know that I was in love with a girl in my kindergarten days.

The initial few days in Kindergarten were the toughest days of my life. I found it difficult to hold the small slate pencil and write all the letters in the English alphabet in a small slate; at the same time I found it difficult to cope up with the emotional pressures that became more and more. How much can a three year old boy handle?
I was a regular bed wetter during that time. I continued to wet my bed for many more years. Now this post is not about my bed wetting heroics. So let us get back to the topic.

As Romance for my girl bloomed in my small heart, I was not the same anymore. I would sit in the front bench in the classroom. She would sit in the adjacent bench. I would often give her a romantic look at her. She would sit in her bench like an angel and would throw an "I don't give a damn" look at me. At the same time, she would blush when others looked at her. This would make me feel so bad. I would feel like punching everyone on their faces. But I wasn't strong too. The agony in my little heart became increased and it was hard for me to bear. There have been times when I would break into little shudders while sitting in the potty. No one would see my tears.
One day, I gave my regular romantic look to her and she reciprocated with a smile. It was the happiest moment of my kindergarten days. I decided to make full use of the opportunity to win her Love. During the recess break, I went near her and offered her two milk bikis biscuits. She picked them from my hands and smiled at me. Was she smiling at me because of the biscuits? Did somebody threaten her that they would kill her father if she smiled at me? and Was that the reason for her not smiling at me all these days? What ever happens I was happy , because I knew that this was the best opportunity for me to win her love.

I said to her, " What is your favorite color?" ( A decent pick up line for a 3 year old boy)

"Pink" came the reply.

That was the moment pink became my favorite color too.

The next day, I wore a pink shirt and a pink short trousers to school(cause it was saturday. Only on saturdays we can wear color dresses). She was in a pink frock with pink laces . She was beautiful. I wanted to dedicate the song lady in pink for her. But I did not know the lyrics by heart. So I just hummed the tune. She smiled at me. During the recess time, I approached her and said to her, " Can We build a sand castle during our play-period. She said Yes. The next two hours seemed like eternity. I waited for noon to come.

Every afternoon, the kindergarten kids were allowed to play in a small room. We called it the sand box. We would have small plastic mugs and water bottles. We were given an opportunity to build clay castles. I never liked playing in the sand. I always picked the sand and sprinkled them on all the girls in the class. But today, I decided to behave like a good boy. She agreed to play with me, in spite of knowing that I was a brat.

During lunch time, I could not eat the rice and sambhar. It seemed that I was already full. I closed the lunch box and washed my hands. I was now ready to play the sand box game with her. The bell rang. I ran to the sand box room. She was already sitting inside the room. She looked like an angel. She did not have wings though. I slowly walked and sat next to her. But she was with her two friends. One is Shalini and another one is Radhika. I did not want them around. So I tried to make them understand through my facial gestures. Shalini thought that I was indulging in eve teasing. She took a fistful of sand and threw it on my face. If she had not been there, Shalini would have been dead meat by then. So I acted like a gentleman, I took an handkerchief and wiped my face and said, " That's ok Shalini. I forgive you". she smiled at me. I knew that I had created a good impression on her.

Immediately Radhika, who was sitting behind me emptied a handful of sand inside my shirt. Before I could react, Shalini attacked me from the other direction. I remained calm as a cucumber. When Shalini tried to attack me again, she stopped her. That was the happiest moment of that day. She came near me and wiped my face with her soft hands. Then she said, "Prabhu, I wanna tell something to you. Can you please close your eyes". The very next second, I closed my eyes. Then she told, " Prabhu, Can you please open your mouth?". My mouth opened automatically. Soon she filled my mouth with some sand. I realized that she also had played a prank on me. I controlled my tears and slowly walked out of the sand box room. As soon as I stepped out of the room, it started raining. I slowly walked into the rain so that no one could see my tears. Till date, I don't know why she did that to me; and I am not gonna crack my head in trying to figure the answer.

Butterfly Princess

June 18 2011

Prabhupepsi's head is a circus that operate 24/7. His brain is full of unanswered questions. Little kids have lot of questions too. When their questions are not answered properly they become mentally unstable. The unstable nature of Prabhupepsi is explained in this post. Most of the time, he does unimaginable, immature things that would make anyone hate him. But many such immature acts of Prabhupepsi has indeed saved the honour and pride of his girl friend Reks.

Many girls have crossed in Prabhupepsi's life. But the girl,"Reks" occupied Prabhupepsi's heart from the past  three months. Reks is Prabhupepsi's blog mate. She was/is a beautiful girl indeed. Let us hear the story from his mouth.

Pepsiboy  narrates
When I first hear her, I could hear Rahman's music in my ears. The first day a magic starts in my life, I realised that at least 33  guys may be fallen in love with her and I thought I was one among them.

The first week was over and by now the ice was broken by her. We started talking our stories every night in phone for hours. Reks and I were in the same feeling. We started talking every day at least 3 times asking had your food?! had your food?! had your food?!. After two three days, Reks and I had become great friends. She would share every matters with me.When I met her first time Our eyes started talking the language of silence. I knew that she was in love with me. I also knew that she was waiting for me. From my great experience with my relationship with girls, I had become an expert in knowing what a girl wants. All my previous assumptions had backfired. But I knew that this time,I was right when I realised that Reks was in love with me.

Reks was the blonde of my life. One day while I was waiting for her call, my mobile phone rang. It was Reks

Me: Hello Butterfly ( That's how I call her)
She: Prabhu! I am stuck here.
Me: Why? What happened? ( There was complete concern in my voice)
She: There is a power failure and the elevator is not working
Me: So what is the problem
She: I am stuck outside the elevator. I am waiting for the last 15 minutes.
Me: Oh
She: Prabhu... I do not know what to do now. Please help me.
Me: Ok Reks.. Why don't you use the stair case?
She: Thank you dear. I would do that.

We had many intelligent conversations like this. Reks was very popular in her place because of her stool (high heals). The stool ll be changed on a regular basis(ok ok cool Reks). In due course of time, we became an inseparable pair. Love You Reks!

Broken

June 17 2011

I'm not sick, there's nothing wrong with me, I just don't know how I can live, I don't think I want to, I don't think there's a way. Someone has fractured me by their actions and I realise now that, yes, the world really is the way I feared it was. I'm not sure whether that means anything or not. One of my friend has sent me a letter about my "Birthday Bonus". I get an extra 1000`. Yay, let's go crazy!
