File Corrupt

Each death is a file corrupt

Each file holds valuable data

Each death takes with the person

Data accumulated through a life time

Temp files are with short lifespan

Some people are like that too

Sometimes a file and a person

Are removed cruelly with a single stroke

Some files are cherished

The whole system depends on them

Some people are so important

Their demise bring empires crashing down

Much needed files and people

Their disappearance from our life

Plays havoc with our memories

Making us think where we went wrong

We try sometimes in vain

To retrieve / revive through various means

Sometimes we succeed fully

Other times partially

Wish there are numerous backups

For both files and people

So I could bring back all

The ……………..

Files I miss and the dear ones.
